There are several methods of printing labels:
Crystal Reports is preferred.
Other ways include Microsoft Access.
Excel, Word's Mail Merge are slower, more cumbersome alternatives.

The pre-programmed scanner interfaces directly with MP2. Simple plug the scanner into a spare USB port, open MP2 and start scanning.

The total cost is comparable with the annual, recurring costs for Infor's solution.
Performance is perhaps faster.

Thanks for confirming that you would need to use another program with training to print barcodes without the module in MP2.

I also agree that a USB barcode scanner is a much cheaper option if you don't want to go mobile with your barcode solution. I have used these before.
