I use MP2 for my personal business. It has worked great unit now, I need to design custom reports. I recently purchased crystal reports 2008 and spent time trying to get the information from MP2 with no luck, The file i believe the data is stored in asks for a password. I'm so lost

The password you are using is the database password. It is stored, encrypted in the MP2 .ini (configuration) file.

Look where you store the MP2 CD to see if you made a note of the password.

Many users use "MP2" or "mp2" as this password.

what version of MP2 are you using? If you are using MP2 Access, which I assume you are since you refer to a file, there are many Access database password recovery tools. A quick google search will find many, there are a few frees ones out there as well.

I agree with the previous poster in trying MP2 or mp2, those are the most commonly used passwords because by default the installer puts that in.

Thanks for the help, I had to use a recovery tool and the password ended up being my name. go figure
