We have been using MP2 6.0 w/SQL since 1999 on a local network.
I got into this game after most of MP2 had already been set up. I set up Messenger some years ago to automatically email Weblink users if their work request had been deleted along with a comment. I installed MP2 messenger on another pc so it would run in the background 24/7.
Since I upgraded the pc that it was running on, every time we delete a work request, I get a message from microsoft outlook with the message: A program is trying to automatically sen e-mail on your behalf.
Do you want to allow this?
If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose "No"."
Now I have to check the pc priodically to click yes to allow outlook to send the email.
The IT guy had it working some time back but can't remember what he did to get it to work, and doesn't have any interest in spending alot of time persuing the issue. Unfortunately, Datastream is not supporting us with MP2 any longer.
We are running Exchange Server 5.5, service pack 4 if anyone has run accross this before.
I'm not sure this is a MP2 problem or exchange setting.
Thanks

The issue looks to be on the local machine, is this XP ? If so you need to set the security level on the machine to allow the email to be sent and the pop up box should stop. If this is on the exchange server It may be a bit more complex ..
