I have a question regrading Infor Eam Enterprise Edition. I am trying to configure the messenger option so that whenever a certain event occur a notification is sent to the user. I have configured the SMTPSERV and SMTPSEND install parameters. When the event occurs, the mail is initiated but it gets stuck in the e-mail viewer form , it doesn't reach the specified users. I get the following error in the e-mail viewer form:

javax.mail.SendFailedException: Sending failed; nested exception is: class javax.mail.MessagingException: Unknown SMTP host: mail.yourcompany.com; nested exception is: java.net.UnknownHostException: mail.yourcompany.com


It says that the smtp host "mail.yourcompany.com" in unknown, this is the default value for the install parameter before seeting it. I already changed that but it keeps giving me this error...

We are using MS exchnage server for outlook mail and I am using the url of that server .

Help please ..
