Is there any way to get MP2 to properly display the actual hours required for a Multitask (multiple machines on one PM) in the Work Order Projection report? If a PM takes 1.5 hours with 10 machines the report displays .15 hours. With 16 similar PMs, MP2 shows a total of 19 hours when the reality is 76 hours. This makes it very difficult to balance the workload over three shifts through year end.

What version of MP2 are you running?

How are you setting up your Task?

I just created a Task with 3 pieces of equipment. I also add the task would requie 3 hours. Then I ran the projection report, in the projection report it lists 3 hours.

Try taking an existing task - one that has been used for a year or so - and add three pieces of equipment to it. Or generate then close the one you created then change the hours and see if it prints correctly. There should be some way to set the averaging period.

I did add more equipment to a task, generated and closed one then changed the hours and the Projection Report was accurate.

I am not sure what you mean by the average period.

Back to projections. You can enter a time in Task Duration and Estimated Labor Hours. For a PM with 7 machines, if I enter a TD = 0, EL = 4, the projection report shows .8 hours. If I enter TD = 3 and EL = 7, the projection shows 1.4 hours. If I enter TD = 3 and EL = 3, then I get a .6 task projection. Any ideas will be appreciated.
