I have an issue with PM schedules in DSTM 7i.
We have several schedules for one object.
There is an PM each 3 month and one each year.
The schedules are of type variable, so the due date may change.
How can I ensure, that the yearly plan fits with the due of the 4th 3 month plan (which should by nesting be "replaced" by the yearly plan) ?

First you have to use weekly as a common denominator to make 3 months = about 3x4 weeks and 1 year = 48 weeks. Not so accurate but it works. To be accurate, your CMMS has to have the feature of key dates where you can start a job plan at specified dates.

In the previous CMMS (TRIMAX) installed long time ago, the Planners used this technique:
* a PM task list repeating every six months
* an identical PM task list repeating yearly
* the real yearly PM task list

The first PM task list took care of the first and third trimester, the second was scheduled to ocurr in the second trimester, and the yearly PM was scheduled to ocurr at the fourth trimester.
