For USERS of Bently Nevada ADRE 208,
Prior to the ADRE 208P, a Model 208 was launched. For Model 208:

1. A Direct I/O Adapter and Cable are required to work with the old computer with OS up to Windows 98.
OR
2. Internal Board (upgrade)for 208 and Cable are required to work with the present day computer.

Let me know if you have any one of these or both that is extra or you feel you longer need it.

Thanks,

The 208 can readily be converted to a 208P should you desire. It takes about 30 minutes, most of which is opening and closing the case. There are just a few boards inside that slide out and replacement slides in.

Thanks John.

You have worked for BN for years and pretty much familiar with the transition of ADRE 208.
I would appreciate if you can give the instruction in doing the conversion. If the space in this board is not sufficient to do so and it may require copy and paste of the procedures please send to my email address below.

Boni, you should check with your local BN salesperson but basically the 208 to 208P upgrade kit IF the 208 already has CE mark is P/N 134559-01.

The 208 to 208P upgrade kit, no CE mark to CE mark is P/N 134559-02.

Basically, to do the upgrade the case is opened by removing the handles and the four screws on the top. Then the upper case is removed and three or perhaps four boards get replaced. No calibration of the unit is required although if it has been a long period since last calibration then you should consider getting this done.
