Hello all,
Just received our new data collector and software and going thru the ref manual I'm running into a issue with the detail exception report. I followed the steps exactly as they are within the manual, pages 53-54, and when I go to generate a report for a single machine, it still shows all machines. Has anyone else seen this? Thanks X Equipment: Commtest Vb7 collector |

Hey X,
I guess I wlll start with the most obvious. What did you have highlighted to the left in the database tree? For a single machine you would need to only have the machine of interest highlighted. If you have the site level highlighted you would get all of the machines. The report is updated base on what you have highlighted in the database tree. If this does not work i would try the good folks in Knoxville. Regards, Marty |

Marty,
Thanks for the reply. I did go back and retried the report, making sure that I had the machine or machines that I would like highlighted then selected F12 to generate the report and then right clicked and un-checked the show all machines and it did work. But I guess I will contact commtest again as per the manual, it does not work like it is explained. I did find that to get it to work like they explain inthe manual, you have to right click on the report and then go to detailed exception report (last one listed), then select Update. Then it works, but the right click on the underlined machine, etc like the book states does not work Equipment: Commtest Vb7 collector |
