Would like to share with you our practice with regard to heavy equipments scheduling like cranes, forklift......

First of all we create an operation on the maintenance order with specific work center for heavy equipment department example (EQW_EOY), then we schedule the required hours on another transaction where we do have a conference call with all maintenance parties along with Heavy equipment department where the highest plant rank will be picked up.

I think the best way to reserve a piece of equipment is through Outlook or other email/secheudling software. We use it to reserve conference rooms and it works well.
