I was told that with SAP we have Project system and it can be used for managing capital project as well as turn around projects.

Can some share their experience on using SAP Project system for managing these topics?

We can manage turnaround works or projects for existing plants in SAP by creating a project codes for them. The project codes can be used to substitute your cost centre in the work order settlement rule.

I have not used it for brand-new capital projects. I guess it can do because it's a suit application software.
