for any university sites, can you explain your RECHARGE process and related budget management techniques/process?
The understanding is that Facility Maintenance department attempts to charge-back some work to the customer - being the educational side of the business.

Can you not chnage the budget code in the work order from facility to that of education dept code?

John, I work in a Facilities Services Dept in a Manf. environment and we do the same. We change the Cost Center to the Department that requests the work, or that owns the equipment we work on. It's a fairly simple approach to charge back.
