Have any forum members used the NRX product with SAP PM?
If so - can you share your experiences? Thanks Terry O |

hi Terrence,
I'm running a project to increase usability with sap and I'm currently assesing 2 solutions (NRX and GuiXT). I've been visiting a company using NRX, however processes they were running were so low that the demo was not impressive at all (I could have done better with excel). So I'm also very much interested in having some valuated inputs about NRX (and GuiXT). David B. |

LinkOne for SAP hangs out in the same space as NRX. I think it runs stand alon, but is more useful when used inside the components selection screen in work orders. You can drill into a plant from an aeriel or start at the equipment level. Thats what I saw in a demo anyway.
GuiXT is more about reducing the number of screens/menus in SAP that you would encounter out of the box. So, I gues it depaend on what you're looking for. Here is a link to LinkOne. Q Data appears to be an SAP consulting and services http://www.qdatausa.com/PublicDomain/Pages/products_LinkOne.asp |

Hey David B.
Have been looking at NRX but still on the fence from a Cost benefit standpoint. Any observations you have from your trial is welcome. Currenly use GUI-XT as the mechanic interface. |

I've been developing a guiXT interface to easier main used screens on PM.
Users are quite happy so far. (they've been using SAP standard for 2 years... so obvisously it's a huge difference a step forward for them). Development is not very complex and can be handle smoothly. As anything you can develop huge complex processes, but most if you want to restrict to simplify screens (remove unused fields) and combined couple of transactions, it works perfectly (assuming your users are not afraid of sap blue standard screen... it stays within sap background !). It worths it, and I think it should be almost part of standard sap customizing :-) David. |
