Could someone look at this software (attached file) and/or possibly go on-line and download a temporary 30 day trial.
(Need some answers)
Can a non-vibration tech use say... this software with a bad bearing or elctrical corona wave file? If so, what would someone set the (using the "OPTIONS" drop down menu) "SETTINGS, SCALING, CALIBRATION, or TRIGGER"?
What settings would he/she use for "Plot Top" and "Plot Range"?
Under the "CONFIGURATION" window and drop down menu, you have a choice for configurations, can a standard configuration be used for bearings and another for electrical?
You can find this software at SpectraPlus 30 Day Trial.
I have also included below in the attachments "TWO Wave Files" (bad bearing & corona).
(if you need more wave-files email me) jim.hall@ultra-soundtech.com
Thanks in "advance" for your help...........

Jim,

If you are in a real hurry for this, then give me a call, and I will walk you through the menu selection. If you want to do an absolute calibration, then you need a US transmitter and a true RMS voltmeter. A function generator (sine waves) is also a recommended tool for this.

(Sensor Volts) -> (Meter dB) -> (Meter AC output Volts) -> (Sound Card Volts or calibration) -> (SpectraPlus display Volts or dB)
