Can somebody explain the major differnce between the two technologies. ( Ultrasonic and SHock Pulse Method ).

As far as bearing health checking is concerned, both work in the ultrasonic range. Ultrasound is anything above 20KHZ.SPM is bearing activity between 25 to 35 KHZ causing accelrometer resonance. Higher frequency ultrasound will catch deteriorating bearing condition like lack of lubrication before SPM. There are other ultrasound technologies for the same purpose like HFD, SEE, spike enrgyetyc.
