To All,
I have read plenty of comments regarding the inspection tagging process and have been dissatisfied with what tags are available "over the counter" so to speak. Several other comments on this posting board questioned how tracking the repair to the inspection was carried out. We just concluded a natural gas piping inspection and were able to track 5 small leaks to their final inspection.
The attachment is a custom made ultrasonic inspection tag we had printed for our use. It covers both airborne and contact inspections and when used in conjunction with a well written SOP tracking is very effective. The tags are large enough to be seen when hanging near the 20' ceiling but are not water proof.
I do not own or have any ties to the print service and I am sure they would sell to anyone if approached. For printer’s information please send an email to mark.gonzagowski at gerber.com
