Maintenance Manager

Summary:
With direction from the plant manager, the position is accountable for safety, quality, productivity, material handling, preventive maintenance, equipment repair, cost performance, employee relations in a high performance work team environment, capital improvements and budget preparation. Job demands monitoring maintenance performance and implementing processes, procedures, and methods to improve results in all key functional areas. Position is responsible for implementing and maintaining best manufacturing practices and regulatory compliance for all maintenance activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead maintenance department in continuous improvement initiatives, such as 5S with safety, 6 Sigma, Kaizen events, and lean manufacturing.

Coordinate maintenance scheduling to meet production demands, to manage overtime, and to reduce costs.

Ensure preventive maintenance program is implemented and maintained.

Coordinate plant equipment maintenance and repair.

Support machine installation or removal as needed.

Direct the development of Reliability Centered Maintenance program, which includes Failure Mode Analysis, Operator PM initiatives, IR, Vibration analysis, Oil Sampling and Thermography, to assure timely repair with minimum downtime.

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in engineering. 3-5 years of Maintenance Management experience in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing operations. Experience with robotic equipment & production lines is highly desireable.
