With operations in Brandon, Manitoba,Canada, growth has fueled the need for a Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager ensures efficient operation of equipment and plant services including cost control, safety and product quality. This individual provides leadership for the plant engineering group. The Manager uses project management methodology for plant operating improvements and facility management. In addition to developing and managing the annual Maintenance/ Engineering Department Budget, the Manager will analyze current and future opportunities for cost savings. This role also ensures compliance with HACCP regulations and other government regulations, maintaining all relevant documentation. The Manager is expected to provide leadership and vision for future plant expansion. The ideal candidate is a Mechanical/Industrial Engineer (preferred), Mechanical Millwright License or Licensed Electrician. You have working knowledge of the following BPCS programs: o MRO function o Plant Maintenance Function (Work Orders, Equipment Tracking, Preventative Maintenance) With a minimum of five years management experience in a trade/ engineering-oriented function, you have five years experience in a supervisory role. You have working knowledge of ammonia plant operations including powerhouse support. You are comfortable using MS Office and have strong oral and written communication. You have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and have strong project management skills in planning, scheduling, assigning, budgeting and managing.
