Hi Folks,

Has anyone had any experience with a product known as Graflon?. I have an urgent requirement to supply new lineshaft bearing and thrust discs for a wet wound submersible motor.

Yes GRAFLON= Graphite+Teflon HY 49 is the grade usually it has been used as material for reciprocating compressor rider rings and piston rings.an UK based company is prodcing that unable to recall the name (morganite or morgan)probably some others may als producing.

I have experience with those type rings. If they get wet they have a tendency to stick and wipe on the sides giving a short life.
