Working on a Williams Roller Crusher, my client has experience severe wear in the "ring gear". This has been going on for many years and they are accustomed to replacing the ring gear about every year. It has always been my understanding that the rollers were the wear part and the ring gear rarely required replacement.

In every case I have looked at this type of crusher, material feed has been the source of the problem and I suspect that it is here, too.

Any other comments?
