We are looking to purchase a new Strobelight and I was interested if anyone has got one with an IS(Intrinsically Safe)zone rating? If so where would I get one and How much are they worth?

Thanks in advance

Just a quick look on the WWW pointed to these two. Drop the second one an email and ask them.

Cheddar - both of those links will lead back to me. The quick answer is that a stroboscope can not be made to be intrinsically safe. Hooch, if your interested in quality industrial strobes, you can find a large selection at either of the two links already posted.

Thanks guys for all of the info, I guess if I go to Take this gear into these hazardous areas I need to put special control measures in place ie gas monitoring etc.

Cheers
