Vendor Warning

Hi Helmy,
I work for SKF and I use the GX and Machine Analyst regularly. I also use the CMVA-60. Both of these instruments are powerful tools. I do not sell the equipment, just use it, so I don't know the price.

I have been collecting data on a complex machine that turns 2.5 RPM. The system succesfully pulled out defect frequencies from a very weak signal.

No matter what data collector/analyzer you purchase, the most important thing is how you use it. You should buy from a company that has support after the sale in your area.

You may contact me by email if you wish

Helmy, working for a mining company I'bought a system consisting of 2 CMXA50 and Machine Analyst software. After a lot of problems changed our CMXA50 collectors for CMVA60. After that this is a very nice system, Machine Analyst with @ptitude options is a very powerfull system that helps to maintain condition for a very big quantity of machines. For me, the very best difference is that rules for expert system is an open system, then you can to decide what to use or what to discard according to your experience or way of work. Price is not a big issue, dont remember numbers but that was not our principal concern but expert system specifications.
