General question for discussion.

If we get Lobe pass frequency in the spectrum( say this particular frequency is in increasing trend), what will be our recommendations to solve the increase in vibration.

RCA. Find the source and get rid of it. It may be from process error, resonance, component failure, etc...... Loaded question!

Lobe pass frequency has different sources some of them are from process oriented & aerodynamic, for example we are using lobed blower(copmressor) for cooling & exporting gas generated from iron making process which is containing dry dust get accumulated on the lobes creating lobe mesh frequency with high noise for removing dust we are injecting ethanol, some other area it may be due to aerodynamic problems which may be corrected by cleaning filters & checking valve stubs.
