Has anyone used the Ometron vibration laser in route based analysis? How has it worked? Likes/dislikes? Any other companies making similar equipment? Thank you.

Is it good due to non-contact?

I worked for Zonic Corportation in the 80's and 90's and they used this laser to perform a complete modal analysis on the side of a nuclear pressure vessel! Worked like a champ. Obviously, this was a situation where walking up to the structure and taking data was out of the question.
