Hello everyone. We have some large equipment stored near some high vibration areas in my plant. I'm currently in the process of implementing some PMs for periodic rotation and lubrication as well as proper storage guidelines.
Do you guys feel that wooden pallets are adequate vibration dampeners, or should my company invest in some anti vibration pads?
Also where is a good source for anti vibration pads and will recycled conveyor belt work?
Sorry for all the questions but we're in the process of improving our storage procedures and I fear we already have some damaged bearings due to improper storage.

These site have different boards, many members only check messages at the boards of their interest. Probably you could find faster responses if you post this on the "Posts About Vibration/Alignment/Balance" board.
