One of my guys is attending a vibration course this week. I just got a call from him and he told me that at the end of the training he can take either a test that conforms to ANST criteria or one that conforms to ISO criteria. Does anyone have opinions as to the pros and cons of either certication?

Not sure it makes a lot of difference. ASNT does not certify personnel based on an end of course examination. They do have Level 2 and Level 3 certification that they perform. Unless this is the Vibration Institute, the end of course exam for vibration is not a certification exam. The certification examination is a separate item from an end of course examination per ISO.
