I'm looking for a balance unit that has at lest 4 pick-ups and can do a single plane balance with the four pick-ups. Also want to get a print out of the balance without having to download onto a computer.

CSI has changed to the 2130 which can NOT print without downloading. Commtest can only do 2 pick-ups and has to have two planes of correction for this.

Your help is needed. Thanks,

Tim,
CSI use to make an adaptor that would allow you to print straight to the printer. We have one at our shop but I have never used it and don't know which model it worked with. Our company started with the 2100 and we now use the 2120A. I have recently used both the 2115 and 2120A to single plane balance using four pickups. If you had an older CSI analyzer that the adaptor would work on, I could probably get my company to let you have the one we've got. I am sure we will never use it again. I know that probably isn't what you were looking for but if you are interested, let me know.

Ronnie,

Thanks for the offer, it is very nice of you. As it stands I’m with a fan manufacturing company that has 10 CSI 8000/8117 units. We check, and reduce if needed, the vibration levels on the fan. Once it is in our tolerance we print the readings direct from the CSI. One copy ships with the fan and one stays in the file we keep.

CSI is no longer selling the 8117 units, and is limiting its’ repair. The 2130 that they are replacing it with doesn’t do the direct print. I think this is odd because it is a windows base unit.

I wanted to know if any other units out there that have both direct print and the four points.

Thanks again.
