Hi Ralph.
For SST measurements, the proper sensor/integration configuration is: 1. Use a 500 mv/g accelerometer 2. Convert to velocity 3. Use ANALOG integration 4. For best results use a low noise cable and keep the analyzer and accelerometer cable from moving around during the measurement. So, it is correct for the SST waveform and spectrum to be in velocity. tony.dematteo@4Xdiagnostics.com |
