I am showing the 894A605027 as a NTN 6232C3 and the 894A605025 as a NTN 6228C3. Simple deep groove ball bearings. Any reputable manufacturer would do.

Thanks, Sean

I have an 894A605029 as being a 6236. Maybe we can crack their code for good. Roll Eyes

I know the subject has come up before but I forget the answer…. Is there a secret decoder document available for GE bearing part numbers ? (and Westinghouse for that matter!)

Jonesy,

I asked a guy who asked a guy.

Motor shop guys tend to have this kind of info.

A little follow up. I am a motor shop guy. Smiler I have an old cross reference and data collected over the years of dealing with GE. If all else fails I can usually contact my bearing supplier and he can cross reference it for me.

My GE 894A605 029 bearing is now showing a defect at 4.662 orders which matches bpfo for a 6236.
