I am looking for some help in recalling the title and author of a two-volume set dealing with the basics of vibration. It was written by a gentlemen who is very well respected in vibration circles, but I can't recall his name. I know that he worked on the Manhattan project, and that his books were once published or at least sold by CSI.

Anyone know of these books, and where I could get copies?

Yes,Yes he is one of the best. You would have a hard time believing that the man who virtually invented our business could be so funny with a background of his stature. But so funny that anything he told you woul stay imbedded in you rhead for years.I have not had the pleasure of meeting him face to face but i do have a good size collection of his video taped training aids.If you ever get achance to see any of them you will know what I mean from baked beans to tennis balls.

Like Lee said, Art is one of the most interesting and entertaining speakers I've ever met. I had the pleasure of attending a Balancing 2 class that Art taught in 1992 and I still talk about the things he had to say. I learned as much from him during breaks as I did in the class. He has truly been everywhere and done everything and his stories are great. I don't know if Art speaks anymore but if you ever get an oportunity, take it.

Saw that ARC Associates still has a website up, but don't know if Art is still active. Would be great to get him to one of these conferences, and allow a new generation of his followers to learn who they are following. I'll be looking for his videos.

Art is still active but I don't think he's on the touring circuit. We had him on retainer when I was with IVC--field jobs, training, etc. I'm out of that loop now, but call them at 800-525-1269 and see if he has anything planned.
