Once one of you wrote next measurement:
683mils pk to pk at 428 cpm is 17 in/sec
.
Amplitude:A=683/2=341,5 mils
.
w=428cicles/min*1min/60sec=7,133cicles/sec=-
-=7,133cicles/sec*2 pirad/cicle=44,82 rad/sec
then T=0,0223115 sec/rad
.
Now, v=w*A*sin(wt+&)
v=44,82rad/sec*341,5mils*sin(wt+pi/2)*1in/1000 mils = 15,284 in/sec pk
.
I think the difference between 17in/sec to 15,284 in/sec is due to another source of vibration in the measurement taken.
.
In the same way, aceleration is :
a= w*w*A*cos(wt+&)
a=44,82rad/sec*44,82rad/sec*341,5mils*
*cos(wt+pi)*1in/1000mils=686 in/(sec*sec)
a=686in/(sec*sec)= 17,42m/(sec*sec)

I'm not sure what the question is....but maybe my VibCon Vibration calculator will help. You can download it for free at: https://www.ctconline.com/index2.asp?currentnode=903&level2id=557

Miguel's conversion is correct 683mils pk to pk sinusoidal at 428 cpm is 15.3 ips pk/0.

I didn't see the earlier thread that was mentioned but if someone equated 683 mils pk/pk to 17 ips then there are one of two possibilities:
1 - There were higher frequencies present in addition to the fundamental 428 cpm as suggested by Miguel.
2 - An approximate conversion was used
