I m presently using DLI Engineering product DCX-500, which has a 3 sensor transducer. I m using transducer orientation as HVA for collceting data and i fix the probe tangantialy but its difficult to collect data on Gear box, so may i use transduer orientation as AVH to collect data and may i have to mount the probe axial ....? tell me soon if somebody using the same instrument .. thanks in advance have a nice day...

On your triaxial accelerometer; 3 transducers intergrally or attached to a mounting block?

Simply change the transducers to match orientation.

Calling Vertical Horizontal and/or Axial Horizontal opens a can of worms. Take time to ensure proper orientation.

Or, use three different accelerometers. And the fourth channel for phase if you're so inclined.
