Maybe I am missing it, but is there any way to email a member directly like on the old list?

Hi Kelly,

I have looked also, but do not see a way, unless they post their email address here in a reply.

Can't remember if there was a way in the original registration or not.

To publish your email address, you could put it in one of the fields of your profile. Look at mine.

Hi Duncan,

I see what you mean, list it in the "interest field". Good thinking. Wink

Or you can add it to your signature

Testing to see if it posts my signature after adding one. It's in this form to make things a little harder for the email address harvesting robots. I removed it from the interest field in my profile.

After about a dozen snows, I wish I was back in SC, too. Smiler Used to live in Pawleys Island and worked in Georgetown.

I think this is a great idea. I've added my address to the signature but it doesn't appear as a link. What am I doing wrong?

Hi All,

I "logged off" to see if "vistors" and non memebrs could see the email address when entered anywhere in the posts and replies, and I believe they can.

May not be a good idea to have them listed in a post. What do you guys think? In the Public profile where only members can see it might be better.

What are your thoughts on this?

I debated that, too, Ralph. The best way to avoid spamming is to not even put your address anywhere but I'll see how it goes and see how many prescription drug offers come my way.
