For you guys who do training, do you have a video projector model that you would recommend. I bought a fairly inexpensive Espson S1+ and it's OK, but not great. Text is OK, but pictures are not that good.

Do you have a model that you just "love" ?? I am looking to spend < $1500.

Regards,

Rusty

Rusy,
I've got a Sharp PG-A10X. It was fairly cheap and does a pretty good job, although it has the opposite problem from yours, text is not very sharp (but readable) but graphics/pictures are great. We play video through it all the time.

Rusty,

I use a Sony VPL-CX5. Very bright. Good text and graphics. Comes with software to convert a PowerPoint presentation into a series of JPEG file which can be stored on a memory stick card. This allows you to present a PowerPoint presentation without a computer. You can't do all the animations that a computer does, but it makes for a very light-weight and compact presentation. I paid $3000 for mine a few years ago but I think you can find one for around $1900 (or less) now.
