I have just spent a very long time searching through the board (using the find tool)looking for a thread (approx 8 months old???)which from memory contained a reference to CSI's reactivation fee, which they charge when software does not have current maintenance agreement. More specifically, mention that CSI was being less strict about applying the react fee in light of competition pressure.

I am currently looking at buying a used RBM / MHM license and avoiding that fee or obtaining discount on it would be great.

Does anyone remember that discussion / thread??, and could you help me find it? I need to get my facts straight, rather than relying on fading memory!

Any help appreciated. Thanks very much in advance.

This past summer, they had a period during which they waived the reactivation fee. I'm not sure how long that lasted for, but I reactivated mine in June.

I would contact your local rep or the factory to see if it is still in effect.

And thanks for searching before you asked. Too many of us (including me sometimes) just ask instead of doing our own legwork.

Danny,

You were the one that started the thread weren't you? Confused

If so, then look for Dannys posts, Vibe Rater. It will be in there.

I think so.

It was probably one of the few where I talked nice about them Wink

I recently recieved an email saying that CSI has extended the offer to waive the reactivation fee on maintenance agreements. I'm not sure how long the offer is good for.
