FYI - The 2008 EPRI Vibration Technology Forum is being held August 4th - 8th in San Antonio, TX in conjunction with the Predicitive Maintenance User's Group (PdMUG), Infrared Thermography Utility Group (IRUG), and Lubrication and Bearing Workshop.

Typically, there are lots of good case histories from various utilities.

Sounds like a great event. Vibration, Lube/bearing workshop, all good rotating machinery stuff. Getting to talk with the likes of Steve and Ron would be an added bonus. And for those who haven't spent time at the Riverwalk and other attractions in San Antonio - great place to bring the family along.

I have been to the last two EPRI Infrared Thermography User's Group meetings (which are now rolled into this PDM conference), and I'd say they were very informative.

Wish I could go, but my training budget is already blown for the year. I hope you guys bring the really good stuff back to the forum to share with the rest of us.
