I posted this case history to share my experiences with fellow vibration analyst.

This case history uses performance monitoring, process data and shaft vibration to solve a control system issue. It's my opinion that vibration analyst should look beyond vibration signatures to solve problems and understanding unit process', controls, mechanical etc will give you more tools to work with. Just trying to throw something out there for you guys to look at and create some discussion.
