How do you recommend to install 2 sensors for Horizontal and Vertical housing vibration velocity readings on the motor driver end bearing as in the attached picture?

I was thinking to use some brackets, but I guess the bracket itself must not tamper with the readings (e.g. bend or flex). They also have to be tested for resonance in the frequencies rage we're intending to monitor .. and that complicates things a bit.

I see a hole at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock locations. Is it or can it be tapped? If so a square block with a through hole to attach might be considered. Both transducers depending on physical size could be mounted.

John's advice is good.
If you cant tap, simply epoxy a square block onto the support frame (not the frame's outer cover) for the transducers to mount to.
I believe there are sites out there that make these blocks with standard mount threads... anyone have a source ?
If you do epoxy, make sure to remove paint.

I've never done it myself, but I've heard of people attaching a magnetic base (like on a DTI) and then using the accelerometer in the horizontal and vertical direction on this. I can't imagine it's great on high frequencies though. It's a method probably better suited to taking an axial velocity by attaching it to the circumference of a machine when there is no access to the end face.

I can't see the picture, but here are links to standard adhesive mounting pads and fin mount pads:
