Hi
I have been making some routes up using the wizard But when i look on the CSI 2130 I can not see for example the bearing fault frequencies. When i look in the AMS software using database set-up they do not show up either. But then i look at a spectrum and go to fault frequency, there is a hidden set with just a +, once this has been expanded the bearing frequencies can be seen. So how do i fix this? |

Hi Chris
I am self taught on the 2130 but I will try to help if I can. When I have set up the bearings in the wizard they are displayed in either ‘diagnostic plotting’ or ‘vibration analysis’ tab and depending on what version firmware you have they are also displayed on the 2130. In ‘database set up’ and you click on ‘fault frequency set information’ it asks you to define one, as far as I know this is nothing to do with the fault frequencies that you set up in the wizard but for your own specific fault frequency you want to set up. I have come across a few bugs in the program that in ‘diagnostic plotting’ you can display the fault frequencies but in ‘Vibration analysis’ these are not displayed or as you mentioned they are hidden with just a +. What firmware on the 2130 and AMS suite version are you using? I am on Firmware 9.3.13.0 and AMS 5.31. When we installed the latest firmware onto the 2130 the 2130 now does display the fault frequencies as well, in previous versions it didn’t Hope this helps Regards James P.S The contact for CSI help line is 0844 335 1410 |
