What would be a common signiture to look for in the spectrum or waveform when looking for a worn grid type coupling?

Most of the ones I've found were actually dry, and then became worn. But dry ones can show up as looseness and a raised noise floor.

I've even speculated that they would exhibit "tooth pass" - number of teeth on the grid x rpm.
