Chris,
I think it is not difficult to find one, b'cos almost every manufacturer of vibration analyzer is having a balancing program which can be added on as a software updates and almost every program is user friendly. The best is to call these supplier and ask them to demonstrate and you can decide which is the best for you.

Try Commtest. I am sure that they have a representative in your area that can demo one for you.

Chris,

To name a few:

1. Commtest
2. CSI
3. Bentley Nevada
4. SPM
5. SKF
6. IRD Rockwell
7. DLI

I've used both Commtest and CSI. Both are very user friendly but Commtest comes with a cheaper price tag, and a good support agreement.

If you want to find a contact of Commtest in your area, just email me at,

mzeeiqbal@hotmail.com

I'll send you the details of whatever you need to know.

Regards

Zeeshan

Chris - not to sound like an old dinosaur, but most of the recommendations you have received are for data collectors that will also take an FFT and have a downloadable balancing program. I prefer to have a stand-alone analyzer/balancer when on a job, so I use the Dynamics Research Model 340 Portalyzer - it does not weigh very much and is briefcase size with a huge screen for viewing 2-channel FFTs and automatic balancing program. I think their website is www.dynamicsresearch.net.
