I use omnitrend software for vibration analysis which uses ISO standards for alarms but there are two levels of alarm based on the machines foundation (rigid/flexible). My question is, if the equipment in question is sitting on a steel frame with adjustable wheels which is only attached to a concrete foundation by gravity, should I use the flexible alarm limits for my equipment?

My interpretation would be that it is very flexible.
