I experienced this same problem when I moved from a Windows 95 PC to a Windows XP system. I found the company who made the cards in West Chester, PA and visited them. The cards are long out of production, but they made it work!!!! The problem is the voltage out of the card, thru it's bus, into the Workbook. The old computers used to put 12 volts out. The new computers only put out 3 volts! For some reason, the Zonic front end looks for this 12 volts. They opened the DSP and wired in a jumper and it works! The pictures of the fix are included. If your card doesn't work on an old PC (six years old), then maybe the card is truly bad. I don't know if the manufacturer's will work on it (all of the components are too old). The attached picture shows where one end of the jumper goes. I will send a second reply with the other end. Basically, this puts more voltage on the connector to the Zonic front end and it works!

Other end of the jumper. Good Luck. If you still need a card, I think I know where I can get one for a price.
