I realise that "standard" setup have been discussed previously. Up to a point it depends on equipment, software etc. time constraints.
Typical people may use 50 X running speed Fmax velocity reading and a higher Fmax acceleration reading with time waveform? I have seen 3200 line spectra used instead of more averages etc. Do you use demod or peakvue what fmax and filter settings. Do you use overall alarms, band alarms (proven method), statistical alarms, spectral alarms. Do you look at all collected data or only that which is in alarm?. I understand there is no single solution but I am interested in the current state of the art. With data collectors collecting ever higher resolutions have people tried to take a single spectra instead of a low and high frequency one? I am currently switching brands so I though this would be an opportunity to optimize my standard setups. |

Isn't there any standard to refer to such as ISO?
