I am looking for a multi channel digital recorder, suitable for vibration applications. Simple to set it up and simple to retrieve the data. Any suggestions based on actual use experience.

If you want an instrumentation grade digital recorder, then try Teac or Sony. If you want a multi-channel vibration data acquisition system, then look at IOtech ZonicBook (now National Instruments). There are many other products in this category.

SDT uses the Roland Edirol for recording ultrasound signals. I would imagine it would also work well with vibes.
