Hi
Can anyone help? We have 2 Snapshots, someone has lost the handbooks, so no one knows how to use it fully and aparently, the computer with the software on was scrapped!!! Has someone got a copy of the handbook and/or the software. Have contacted Bently, but could not believe the amount of money they wanted!

Find a stone crusher and throw the snapshots in Eeker! I would recommend anyone else but snapshot unless you really, really need to use it. If you need online condition monitoring with proximity probe applications, Bently Nevada is great.

Phil, the analyzer will do the job if all you need are some "on the spot" readings but if you intend to start a condition monitoring program there are other alternatives to better suit you needs.

For the record:
We have about 60+ machines on system 1 with 3500 racks and I believe they are the best at online condition monitoring using proximity probes. On the othe hand, The periodic hand held analyzer used with System 1 leaves alot to desire. I tried to set up a walk around program at our refinery and the snapshot was not going to work so I traded them in for one of the competitor analyzers, which is designed for large plant general pupose machinery. Just my opinion.

Phil,

Please refer the Help Menu in the snapshot also check the system1 software.

My opinion: Snapshot is also one of the good tool if you know how to apply that.
