Hi All
I have 2 DYMAC M747A machinery analyzers I believe made by Scientific Atlanta. About 20 yrs.old but in great shape. I need an actual Operation Manual and if info on where andy pickups etc. might be available. I believe the company is know owned by SKF. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Email or phone is great. Thanks!!foolfiter@gmail.com Mikela 503 380-8743 |

I think 745 was the last one I fooled with. Any transducer will work with those instruments. An eddy current probe of 200 mV P-P was set on 70.7 or 0-P X rms. Same for other transducers as far as I know: put in the rms X 0-P value. So an acel of 100mV = transducer sens of 70.7. You are not limited to any one transducer or a specific manufacture as all will work as long as you know the sensetivity.
However; as I recall you can gather false data as it will let you perform setups that do not necessarily conform to the laws of physics. Cordially, Sam Pickens pdmsampickens@gmail.com |
