We use (B&K) make VT 60 for vibration analysis. Can somebody guide how SED is useful for Rolling Element Bearing Analysis?
Any available literature /article for understanding may be of great help. Regards, Seemant |

For a start, you might read:
http://www.bkvibro.com/Main/Publications/Application+No...envelopeanalysis.pdf This article has some B&K jargon but, in general, B&K is a good, legitimate technical source, probably more so than most other vibration equipment vendors. My company, VibroTek, has an extensive technical library with details on bearing diagnostics linked to: http://vibrotek.com/articles.php dc at vibrotek dot com |

I think SED is the same basic technique that many other companies use. It should be an effective technique if used properly.
