Just asking for some assistance. We are commissioning a new plant and would like to know the best set up for taking data on these conveyor systems.
We use Entek Program My idea is Velocity Gse 100Hz filter TWF Gs RMS One thing I would like to know is how to set up Gse TWF for these speeds. Any suggestions would be appreiated |

Being low RPM machinery, also measure displacement. Your TWF should capture 6 to 10 revolutions.

Might want to also configure to take a demodulation reading with the IRD unit. Be sure to read up on it though. Gotta be sure you balance your Binwidth and FMax so that you can still take advantage of the high sample rate to pick up bearing faults. Something as slow as 40CPM if you are doing it with a regular accelerometer. you are probably below it's useful range and using standard readings would mean you have to a low frequency accelerometer. I haven't ever used this for IRD and am not sure what the setting for Gse are on it. Generally though you will want to play with the readings and take some in the range of 1K-5K on something that slow. Only thing is if you go out too far you can't get high enough resolution to see what you need to. Good Luck!
