You guys were right! It took a little work to find the sweet spot, but we found that taking a 4' piece of uni-strut and placing it under the motor between the 2 feet, and standing on it reduced the vib by 75%.

This has been a great learning experience for me and my group really appreciates the help from all of you.

The really ironic part of this is that our original idea about this was correct, but the whole "standing on the motor" thing led us in the wrong direction.

Everyone on our team was convinced that standing on the motor should have dampened this resonance.
