They don't seem to match.

The top gear is either badly worn or another tooth profile altogether.

looks like somebody had a gear made that would fit in "the hole" to keep the machine going without any consideration for gear design?

Dave, the bottom gear appears to have been produced on a shaping machine using a single point tool. ( by someone who had forgotton to wear their glasses )

Hi Dave! Bet you can't guess who this is.

It looks like the top gear is a cut out that wasn't finished machining.

Did you get this out of an actual machine as a running pair or are you just spoofing us?
